The Sun
The Sun represents the centre of our being. The physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of our being are all centred around the Soul, just as the Sun is the centre and controlling energy of our solar system. Thus, Sun cycles are very important because their effects saturate all aspects of our being and can be long-lasting.
The Sun means honour, rewards, dignity and the limelight. The Sun loves truth, favours, honour, illumination, brilliance, success, vision, supremacy, leadership, royalty and command. Its negative aspects are greed, boastful arrogance, bragging, conceit and self centred moral blindness.
The Moon
Because the Moon goes around the Ecliptic so fast, She is not very influential during cycles, which usually lasts about an hour, with a fifteen minute center. Mostly, Moon cycles signify the small events during the day like a nice hello, a smile or maybe a favorite song.
The Moon cycles basically represent the changing moods during the day. You can spot if the morning will be more pleasant than the evening, or visa versa. The afternoon may be a little depressing, or a little anger in the air, all depending on what planet the Moon is effecting. I find by checking them, I get the drift of the day.
Once in a while a Moon cycle comes as strong as any major cycle, but I have never discovered how to spot the potent and powerful ones from the usual.
Sometimes, it acts as the trigger for a stronger cycle that is very close to it the midpoint in it's cycle.
The Moon effects your emotions and how you feel. Rarely does in produce an external event. It creates inner feelings for a shaort period of time.
Mercury
The ancient Egyptians recognized the planet Mercury as the seat of speech and intellect. Conversations are very important. What you say, how you say it and to whom will often affect your life profoundly. Mercury cycles are short - often lasting for 1/2 a day - but if you know what to expect during them, you will know how to deal with the important communications of the period. You will know what effect your words are likely to have on others.
Venus
Venus loves fads and fashion as well as hairdressers, flower and perfume shops. Venus cycles by themselves are not especially significant, just nice, pleasant and easy. They are more important when combined with some of the other cycles which occur at the same time. These cycles are always a lot superior when you do what you love to do and avoid what you don't like doing.
Mars
Gives Courage, Strength, Health and Vitality
Thrives on Anger, Hostility and Bluntness
Loves to Attack....Win....Dominate.
Martian energy is primarily identified with the physical body. Strenuous activity, whether work or play, is a good way to dissipate it. Bottling it up tends to build anger, resentment and other negative feelings which may later cause evil actions.
Mars is always ready for battle and goes gladly into combat. He will not tolerate weakness or hesitation, cowardice or treason. He accepts only victory and simply runs over anyone who gets in his way. He believes that courage, strength, skill and animal instincts will see him through. He welcomes danger, even pain, as they challenge him to be his best. Although he does not wish for death, he forces issues and relentlessly stalks his prey. Mars never retreats. This kind of energy will be of use to you if you have any kind of battle to fight. You won't be so much of a pushover during a Mars cycle. You may be overly aggressive, but at the least you won't let anyone run over you. It is best to fight for a constructive purpose.
During the hard angles of Mars, you tend towards anger and/or others tend to get angry with you. Such energies may be useful in solving problems or they may create them, depending on the situation. The easy angles are more flowing and positive and do not cause opposition in others. They can help you to be a little more assertive in your dealings with others, but cooperatively.
Some negative possibilities of the strong angles, especially when there are no beneficial cycles and only malefic ones are active: being apprehended by the law or getting a ticket, being assaulted by enemies or hoodlums, thieves breaking and entering your premises, getting a high fever from a virus or cold, accidents, stabs, cuts, injuries, being frightened, having arguments and quarrels, experiencing mental, emotional or physical violence or rape, rage, cruelty, struggling, being fired or dismissed. If these energies are around and you are not careful to resist corruption, you will certainly end up with wounds to lick and heal, after this cycle.
I remember some fights that are unforgettable under strong Mars cycles. Mars is great if you use it properly. I knew a couple; and he would play around on her quite often, and she didn't like it...at all! One day he came over and said to me "what was going on this morning?" I looked and found a Mars Opposition Uranus. This one can be violent, coming totally out of left field....unexpected. I told him about it and he quietly said that while he was sleeping she came over and punched him. I'll let you guess where.
Jupiter
Expansion and Gain, Prosperity and Happiness, Protection
He tends to increases your financial condition through an increase or gift of some sort. There is expansion of respect, esteem, compliments, a higher status or promotion, popularity, purchasing is prosperous, speculating and gambling are more successful. Inhibitions are decreased and good feelings and laughter prevail, increasing your popularity and social life. There can be a great opportunity to gain headway in the area or areas that you have been working hard at to be successful. There is an increase of prosperous and positive opportunities. It indicates a time for you to grow physically, psychologically and spiritually. Even if your house burns down during this cycle, it will probably be put back much better than it was before, unless there are misfortunate cycles operating at the same time. This is a cycle of expansion, expanding the sphere of action, and experience in your life.
There are times and conditions during which this cycle is not beneficial. If it is very restricted in the Birth Pattern itself, or in the sky during the cycle, the Great Benefic, Jupiter, may turn his back on you and look the other way. This then can be a period of expanded disappointment verses excitement and progress. The other pit falls of Jupiter is over expansion, like excessive eating, drinking and partying, excessive purchasing and investing, just plain excess.
There is every chance that things will work out very well during this cycle, as long as you don't take more than your share, especially at the expense of someone else. This will cause problems later when other cycles move in, indicating a time of adversity.
Another pitfall is that you are more apt to feel good and this can encourage you to sit back and do nothing at all, therefore the greater benefits will be missed by inactivity.
This cycle is extremely good for those people who are the givers, as givers are always amazingly rewarded and enriched for their past actions of kindness and unselfishness. Jupiter does not turn his back on the givers of society, only those who have not given, so that they may experience what it is like to be rejected and starved in some way in order to make them into givers. You must give in order to receive. This is the LAW!
This cycle can be very helpful with the solving of problems within your relationships as you are less selfish, more giving, kind and cooperative, with increased broad mindedness and the ability to consider other people. Also, due to your just plainly feeling and experiencing beautiful emotions. It is a good time for good times verses bad times, which help create an atmosphere of cooperation and good will with others. It is an influence which can help you feel a lot better and happier than usual. You must take action in order to receive its benefits.
You will probably desire to increase your education or higher learning during this cycle, and it is an excellent time for these activities. It increases your understanding of the higher and more spiritual ways of life and forms of mental thought. There is a decrease of your negative and separative mental attitudes, as it were, and this is replaced with a more collectively integrated and harmoniously beautiful mind set, which helps you to be successful and more popular as your vibrations are more attractive to others. You can learn and experience a much more progressive and healthy mental attitude, and this new learning can be utilized during periods when this cycle is not in operation. It tends to make one think of higher mental and spiritual horizons and wander to distant places within the mind, if not physically then in the form of travel. Travelling for learning purposes is excellent usage of this cycle.
Now that you know this energy is there, increase your confidence, optimism, kindness and generosity, this will help improve any situation you direct this energy into. It is a period or cycle of improvement and sunshine. There is definitely a protection in the air. Laugh and the world laughs with you, cry and the world leaves you alone. Increased enthusiasm equals increased luck and opportunity.
This cycle is at minimum a break from hardship, so enjoy it and don't cheat yourself out of it by not taking advantage of it's presents in your life, as it is a cycle of prosperity and positive expansion. Things are sure to go more smoothly during this time. So let it into your life.

This is a time of testing where our morals, values, philosophy and skills are tested, opposed and challenged to see if they can stand up to the test of working in reality, or a real situation. If they can't then it is time to reconstruct the parts that don't work by modifying, eliminating and adding parts so as to get positive and rewarding results for you and other people involved. The testing during this cycle is not usually very pleasant. It can strengthen your character and basic structures so as to be firmly anchored in reality. Saturn is hard realities, creating sound and tested methods of work and routine that makes for an excellent foundation when trouble and hard times are at hand.
It has a devitalizing and shrinking effect. The body can look and feel older, your hair and skin colour will not look as healthy. It's a general shadow of gloom. If a disease starts during this cycle, it usually lasts a long time with the possibility of it becoming chronic. Its influence is destructive to the human body, as he is decay and death, causing distress by, colds, chronic diseases and mineral deposits. It causes hindrances. disturbances, stoppages, suppressions, and lowered vitality.
It's not unusual to feel and be handicapped when it comes to social interests and activities. It causes detrimental criticism from others around you, which tends to cause losses and setbacks, creating a sense of depression as this is a no growth energy cycle, it is usually the reverse, your decline, but only where you are not living the eternal laws of life, or the time has come for change.
It tends to slow things down, so that we conserve, focus and concentrate our energies. It is much like driving a car down the street at 50 miles per hour, we see very little. Along comes this cycle and now we are walking down the street, we see an awful lot more, which surprises us. You must slow down in order to penetrate the specific areas of your life that is being effected so as to see clearly and learn the lesson of life being taught.
It tends to bring events along which force you to face your fears. This is usually unpleasant, but must be faced in order to have a stronger internal base structure. Fear is negative and is the root of anger. It is better to purge yourself Spiritually, mentally and physically so as to be joyous and of an uplifting influence, in accord with the highest and purest of ideals.
You may experience pressure to make an area of your life more precise and solid. This can be an inner urging causing you to examine an area that is not satisfactory any more, because your attitudes and priorities are being tested and modified. Therefore the urge to make changes. This testing and modifying of attitudes and priorities can come from unpleasant circumstances arising in your environment, forcing you to reevaluate.
Have you ever see someone walking down the street with their head hanging down so far as to create the question within you, "How come she hasn't walked into a pole?" You may notice that this cycle can make you hang your head down. Its quite common.
As with all energy cycles there is always the potential that this energy will be projected on you from the outside world and also it can mean that you will also project this energy onto your outside world in some way. So when observing this energy, keep this in mind. The energy, of this cycle can be repressive, narrow minded, cold, frigid, unclean or filthy, he stinks, he can be a corrupt and ruthless master and can undermine anything that has beauty and value. Nothing is to rotten, wicked, foul, grotesque or frightful. So when faced with the possibilities of these energies entering in the form of scandal or some kind of catastrophe during this cycle you can be sure that Saturn is getting ready to fill your environment with it rankness in a most underhanded manner. He will drag you through hell in the most cruel, gruesome, distasteful manner imaginable, if He can, and totally enjoy doing it. The best way to handle and avoid these kinds of energies in your environment is to remain pure and free from evil deeds and thoughts. This way there is nothing for the foul stench of this cycle to hold on to. It is a testing of your strength and endurance, love of truth and harmony, which requires patience and long-suffering on your part. This leads to a joyous existence.
This cycle can cause the emergence of someone into your space to play the Dirty Son Of A GUN! Or some Heartless VILLAIN! will arrive on the scene and do everything that you don't like or want. Beware or else! Its the slogan to remember. If something nasty, slanderous, degrading is in your karma, now can be the time of its arrival. With fortitude, love, patience and long suffering you will succeed so don't worry.
Since this is a cycle of change, it is common to have change in your relationship to others, both intimate, close friends and associates. There are basically three kinds of relationships. One, the kind of relationship which is very comfortable much like an easy chair. Two; the kind of relationship which is detrimental or stopping your growth. Three; the kind of relationship which helps and supports your growth. This time frame will make some of these relationships clearer, which is a major factor of the eliminating process of this cycle. A relationship which is to expensive for you or the other person should be balanced for mutual benefit, or it will be terminated by the one who is the giver, and the receiver, who gave nothing of real worth, may suffer due to the loss.
One of Saturn's tendencies is to make you experience the negative side of life in order to teach you not to treat others in this negative way. It only happens if you have done negative things to others and it comes back to you in the same measure so you can directly experience the same feelings which you at one time you caused someone else to experience.
Astronomically the planet Saturn takes approximately twenty eighty years to make one revolution around the Sun and therefore makes one revolution around a Birth Chart in the same amount of time. This means that Saturn will make four hard angles and four soft angles of influence during its complete 28 year cycle. The Saturn cycle to itself, or the place it occupied in the sky at Birth, occurs every seven years, making a hard angle. This represents the seven year cycles that we all have heard so much about.
Saturn is considered a malefic planetary energy. Lets take a look at this and see if we can understand why it is only part of it. Energy is energy. The use: that's something else. Saturn = nothingness. If we look at life, for a moment from the prospective that life on a planet like earth could last, let say 5 million years? Now a human lifetime is what? Nothing, or nothingness. This cycle can bring nothingness into your life on the reality level of existence. Especially when we experience grief, depression, sorrow, misery, suffering, disease, decay, corruption, death. Saturn says NO STOP!. He limits, thwarts, discourages. Go directly to jail and don't collect $200. He represents the collective laws, governments, opinions, rules and regulations in schools, at work and in the home.
The question arises as to what is fortunate and unfortunate? Either one can lead to the other. These two opposites are part of the natural scheme of things. Hardships can be strengthening just as too much ease and comfort can be weakening. The outside life is always changing, and so are the attitudes and ways of those close to you. It's more important to tune into your heart center and keep love and peace within, correcting yourself, and being consistent towards your True Self. This will aid in your ability to outlive all your turmoils and troubles......and laugh about it.

Astronomically the planet Uranus takes approximately eighty four years to make one revolution around the Sun and therefore makes one revolution around a Birth Chart in the same amount of time. Uranus is also different in that the Celestial poles of the planet are facing the Sun, while all the others face North and South on an angle much like a spinning top. The planet Earth has its poles at a 23 degree angle. Also the scientists can not figure how the Wind currents move on Uranus, they do not move in relationship to the celestial and magnetic poles, the way the wind currents move on the other Planets. This is causing breakdown in the previous scientific beliefs as to how these things work. It's a wrench thrown into the theory. There are four major Moons revolving around Uranus. Each one of these Moons has something about it that breaks the scientific theories down. In other words Uranus obeys laws of its own as it were, breaking down all previously believed theories. This is also how Uranus works Astrologically. The three outer most planets (Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) represent the collective unconscious of humanity. Uranus is the bridge. You can actually see Uranus with the naked eye when the earth is inbetween the Sun and Uranus during a new moon period. This indicates that there is more of a conscious link involved.
Uranus symbolizes all that is new, fresh, exciting and strangely unfamiliar, creating the urge for novelty so strongly as to leave you with no internal and or no external peace. It has the ability to uproot you and place you in a totally new and different environment in the twinkling of an eye.
A main point about most Uranian cycles, is that of awakening, and bringing to consciousness, what is just outside of the conscious mind. This new found awareness is usually projected onto the environment in some way. Say a new relationship comes along. This relationship will allow you to experience new feelings and attitudes in freedom and individuality that you haven't yet experienced. This cycle is unstable and the relationship is likely to dissolve when the cycle ends, as most often happens, as you begin to realize that the new person really didn't have or wasn't what you thought they were during the cycle, it was projected by you so as to self awaken. This is not always the case, some relationships that start during this time will stay, but will always demand a great amount of freedom and movement. If they are based on truth then it will last. There are ways, astrologically to know the difference, but this is not included in the scope of this work now being presented.
Uranus breaks down the fixed structures that you have built up over the years in order to have some regularity, predictability and stability. This is done by sudden events and sudden flashes of insight from a higher order increasing your awareness and opening you up to new horizons with an attitude of freedom and liberation. This energy can be applied so as to solve old problems with new and innovative solutions, by applying the new attitudes, new insights, and new ways of thinking that are now entering your life at lightening like speeds.
This is the energy cycle of extremes of all kinds. Any extreme, carried to an extreme, will cause a tremendous revolution in ones structure, as people that are involved with you especially intimately, will become uneasy, unsure, and will consider that you are now unreliable, flipped out and crazy. This cycle and energy can be used to carry out an idea to the point that it is inhuman and ruthless. Real positive change is brought about slowly with proper application of Understanding, Wisdom and Knowledge and without creating total havoc everywhere in ones personal life unless you wish to totally destroy or remove yourself from the conditions that you have been living with up till now. As always the choice is yours. These energies only urge, they do not force anything.
The thing to watch for is that this energy doesn't get out of hand creating an erratic quality that negates maturity and order, just so as to be a rebel for rebellions sake. Order is a necessary thing. The universe is all in harmony and order. It is only incorrect or negative order that must be eliminated. It's correct to create change so as to incorporate your own uniqueness and nature into a structure, and not to allow the structure to have a suffocating effect on you. Also the structure should not allow you to suffocate it, as this would be equally incorrect. Balance and mutual benefit is really the only way things work correctly for the good of all concerned. One persons growth should not be at the expense of another. If this is happening then something is amiss and more understanding, knowledge and wisdom are needed in order to resolve and balance the situation.
Some people seem to look for excitement and novelty by escaping the humdrum, into the phoney and fanciful, in partying, going to movies, playing make-believe or anything that is a distraction, in order to escape the real truth, and themselves. This leads nowhere and defeats the purpose of this cycle by avoiding the creation of your own distraction in order to give birth to your own inventive and creative nature. The truth, which is very elusive indeed, is usually found right under your nose, and not in some other place.
In general this cycle can lead to being unorthodox, impatient, unstable and unreliable looking for new stimulation, feelings, ventures and excitement. Uranus is a super cure for boredom, frustration and removing oneself from the rut.
On of the main things to remember during strong Uranian cycles, especially when it's close to being exact, is to stay as flexible as possible because unexpected things, like all your appointments may change and nothing will work out as planned.
Neptune
A Universal love that includes all life forms. A Heart filled with Love and Light allows one to see with the a clear mind.

A strong Neptune cycle is very sensitive and vulnerable, leaving you open to self deception and being easily deceived by others. You should be extremely careful as deception, thievery, cheatery and the fog are all around.
A principal Neptunian function, is service to mankind. Sister Theresa, Mahatma Gandhi are examples of this kind of service. Neptune wants us to be spiritual....kind, compassionate, self-sacrificing, humble, and selflessly giving loving helpfulness to our fellow beings. We usually experience some kind of crisis. This process brings destruction and decay in some area of our lives. Some events are memorable and take people ten to twenty years to properly integrate the experience.
In the work place this energy may manifest itself in conflicts among co-workers, or between employers and employees as some individuals attempt to manipulate or control others. Real Power struggles. Solutions to the problems will present themselves as the cycle wears on, be careful to choose those which benefit all parties. Don't serve yourself at the expense of others as the consequences of wrong action will rebound after the cycle passes. When Pluto leaves, so does the rug. If the changes needed in these situations are profound, the only solution may be the dissolution of a business or partnership, or a change of career.
Conflicts may arise in intimate relationships as well and it is just as important to seek equally beneficial solutions in this area as in your business dealings. Then he takes it out of the fire and starts hammering it into a different shape. Next, he puts it into the water to cool and strengthen. Then he keeps repeating the cycle until the metal is changed into a horseshoe. This is the process of inner change that Pluto is famous for. It's not an easy process to withstand, but it's rewards are a freer, happier and stronger character helping you create a more rewarding and successful life style. All stemming from a stronger connection to your own inner self.
Remember, It's very important to allow the transformation to take place. By trying to avoid, dodge, repress or ignore it, you will force some kind of explosion and the inevitable will probably take place anyway, in a more destructive manner than otherwise. When the energy comes out negatively we experience being raped, robbed, beaten, our home burnt to the ground, a murder or some other kind of horrifying experience, bringing us to within an inch of our lives in order to teach us the spiritual and natural laws we are supposed to be following in order to happy and successful.
People coming into your life will be the agent of transformation, being either good or evil. They may be part of organized crime, revolutionary groups or organizations which have the elements of secrecy, subversion and destruction. Or they may belong to organizations which try to transform peoples lives into something of worth like Alcoholics Anonymous or new age therapies working towards physical, mental and spiritual healing and growth. Another likely possibility is that they are just ordinary people who will have a strong and powerful transformational effect upon you. Remember, that enemies will teach you how to fight, and from out of the tremendous power struggle you will awaken undeveloped abilities and talents you were previously unaware of. New people don't have to enter your life to have the above take place, it can be people who are already present. It is also very likely to have both types of experiences taking place in order for you to be presented with a choice. And choose you must!
Pluto brings situations that test the courage that a person has about their own beliefs. Can you live what you believe? When a person believes that something is true, or should we say knows that it is TRUE, he is willing to go through ridicule, persecution, exile, misery and torment in order to defend and fight for what he believes. It strengthens attitudes, emotions, beliefs, clarifies directions and makes a person willing to obliterate and anil that which contradicts the truth. Plutonian energy also clarifies the truth and makes it clearer so that there is no more confusion about it. It is like a testing. Can you pass the test? If you do you will be freed from many internal and external restrictions. Remember, to pass, you must follow God's and Natures laws.
This cycle signifies the completion of a phase in our lives with a deep rooted change in our attitudes and emotions, the emergence of a new way comes into manifestation. The changes that take place are at such a deep level that it takes time for the emergence of these changes into the visible.
Most of us at times would like our lives to change for the better. These are the times when these changes are likely to take place. After the Pluto cycle we are usually a lot happier than we were before as it has established a new order and we are much more centred and anchored.
Pluto cycles do not have to effect us in a negative manner. Tremendous growth opportunities exist at these times. You can move from poverty to riches, change a bad relationship into a good one. Change to a healthier diet or start a new career.
Pluto experiences put us in touch with our own power center, causing an awakening to new possibilities and capabilities that were previously dormant.
The negative side of Pluto cycles usually occurs during the approaching half of the cycle and the positive aspects begin as the cycle passes its peak. Going through the cycle can be compared to climbing a hill: going up is difficult, going down is easy; you don't make it to the top on the first attempt - you do a little backsliding.
Pluto cycles, like all cycles, are not to be FEARED; just respected. If you cause harm through selfish motives, you will pay for it eventually. As you sow so shall you reap. If you don't harm or cause needless pain through your own selfishness, then you may have your life drastically altered, but you will come through it way ahead. As you sow so shall you reap, it works two ways.
